School Lunches 2026–2027

Families may now apply for free or reduced-price meals!

North Dakota has recently updated income guidelines which means you might qualify for free or reduced-price meals for the 2026–2027 school year, even if you haven't in the past. We encourage all eligible families to apply through MySchoolApps.

Please note that you must complete a new application every school year or any time there is a change in your household size or income.

Manage School Meal Accounts

Manage school meal payments, check balances, and view cafeteria purchases through MySchoolBucks website or app.

To create an account, add your preferred email address, establish a password, and set up your security questions. Then, add a student to your account using the student’s name, date of birth, and/or student ID number. Payments can take up to 24 hours to post to student accounts.

Important Information!

If you moved houses either on base or downtown it is necessary for a proof of residence be taken to the MPS Admin Bldg as soon as possible. A POR is mandatory for addresses to be changed in Infinite Campus.

Winter Busing

Students living on Minot Air Force Base and attending school on Minot Air Force Base may ride on-base buses from November 2 through April 2. To register your child for on-base busing, please fill out this Bus Agreement form and email it to Yellowfin.Minot@bragglines.com by October 16. For additional information, contact the School Liaison Officer by emailing mafb.school.liaison@us.af.mil or calling 701-723-1447.

Parents Right to Know

Through federal regulation law, parents have the right to request information on the professional qualifications of the teachers and paraprofessionals at our school.If you are interested in learning this information, please contact the school office at 727-3310. Upon this request, you will receive detailed explanation of the licensing, education and experience of each of our teachers and paraprofessionals.

Dakota Elementary School Title I Schoolwide plan (also called a strategy Map) is in the office and can be viewed by staff and families. Please check with our office staff to make an appointment, if you are interested in reading through this document.
