Minot Public School District #1 is again seeking input on boundary realignment changes proposed by the committee.
Please take a few minutes to review the proposed maps on the MPS Boundary Realignment page. You are encouraged to leave comments in regard to these proposed changes. Feedback on the proposed changes will be accepted until Thursday, May 19 at 3:00PM.

Register your Kindergartener through our online enrollment. Check out Minot Public Schools Enrollment page for more information. Please note: Your child must be 5 years old before July 31, 2022 to attend school this fall.
If your PowerSchool Mobile App is having issues, try this:
Uninstall the app and then restart your phone.
Re-install the app by downloading the app from the App Store/Google Play Store.
Tap the link that says “where is my district code?” Enter server address minot.ps.state.nd.us/public and hit submit.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please use the Parent Portal in an updated browser.

Summer School is planned at four locations with one of the locations on the Minot Air Force Base. (See registration for school locations.) The dates of the program are June 6-24. Summer School is in session Monday-Friday from 8:00am-noon. Breakfast and lunch will be available at no cost to students through the summer food service program. Students eating breakfast should plan to arrive at 7:45am. Students eating lunch will be ready for pick up at 12:15pm
Watch for more information with additional summer school details. Registration is open through May 26. Please register as soon as possible to allow for program planning.

June 10, 2022 the Free School Lunch program for students will end.
How to apply for Free or Reduced meals: One application per family.

District website: Print "letter to Households and Application", fill out, turn in to your child's school or the district office.
Paper copy: Pick up application at your child's school or the district office.
All approved applications will have a 30 day grace period for the upcoming school year 2022-23 as the new application is being processed. Any questions please contact nutrition Services District Office at 701-857-8728.
If you moved houses either on base or downtown it is necessary for a proof of residence be taken to the MPS Admin Bldg as soon as possible. A POR is mandatory for addresses to be changed in PowerSchool.
If you are PCS'ing or moving your child to a downtown school. Please call the Office as soon as possible with the last day of attendance at Dakota. Thank you!
Through federal regulation law, parents have the right to request information on the professional qualifications of the teachers and paraprofessionals at our school.If you are interested in learning this information, please contact the school office at 727-3310. Upon this request, you will receive detailed explanation of the licensing, education and experience of each of our teachers and paraprofessionals.
