Planning has started for the 2017-18 school year. Proposed enrollment numbers at individual elementary schools are determined based on the school attendance boundaries established by the Minot Public Schools Board of Education on March 3, 2016.  An application process is in place to request approval to attend a preferred school for the 2017-18 school year. The PDF form Application to Attend Elementary School Outside of Attendance Area (PDF) must be completed and returned to your school office no later than 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15. Late applications will not be accepted.

Winter Recess Information!
Minot Public School policy allows students to have outdoor recess as long as the actual temperature is -5 or above, or the wind chill is -15 or above. All students go outside for recess. Appropriate outside clothing is a necessity. All students are required to have snow pants and boots in order to play off of the black top and on the playground equipment. An extra pair of mittens and socks in the backpack is always a great idea. Please note we do not have any extra clothing for students.
One School, One Book Family Reading Month! The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary
February is Family Reading Month. This year schools across Minot Public District will be reading the Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. Throughout the month families are asked to read assigned pages out loud. Activity pages can be returned to school each week and placed in a drawing for prizes. Trivia questions will also be asked each morning. It is a wonderful opportunity to make reading important and enjoy it as a family! Have fun reading!

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
