Winter Bus Transportation Request and Agreement
Winter bus transportation request and agreements will be sent home Friday, September 27th. Deadline for the request is October 15th! All students must have a signed bus form to either ride the bus or to be a walker. All Annex and Youth Center students must fill out a bus form as the bus will take the students to the Annex and Youth Center. The Youth Center will not run buses in the Winter. Please call if you have any questions.

Positive Shout Outs Dakota Staff/Students
Please provide a POSITIVE shout out to STAFF or STUDENTS who have a positive impact on you while you are at Dakota. You will need to enter a new one for each person. October 16th Early Release for Students
Wednesday, October 16th all students will be dismissed at 1:15 for Professional Development for all teaching staff. Only Annex and Youth Center School Age Program students will be bused, Open Rec students will not receive busing. Please be sure your child knows how they will get home.
Principals Beverage Talk
Once a quarter from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Principal of Dakota Elementary holds a beverage talk for parents at the Little Riders Play Area.

The Purpose of the meetings is to inform parents and community of current events, and any topic that is vital to our students. This informative event is driven by parents input and questions.

We would love to have you join us.

Our 2nd quarter meeting for the 19-20 school year will be on December 5th at 11:00 am.

Important Information!
If you moved houses either on base or downtown it is necessary for a proof of residence be taken to the MPS Admin Bldg as soon as possible. A POR is mandatory for addresses to be changed in PowerSchool.
Student PCSing or downtown moves!
If you are PCS'ing or moving your child to a downtown school. Please call the Office as soon as possible with the last day of attendance at Dakota. Thank you!
